This year we ponder the leader’s journey with God as a continual cycle of orientation, disorientation, and reorientation of our selves in Christ. In life and ministry our interior path leads us through seasons of certainty… uncertainty and loss... and ever-deeper anchoring in our heart’s true home, Jesus.
Once again, the Book of Psalms, that ancient doctor of souls, will provide us with care as we listen for Jesus’ invitation to find new hope out of lament, new joy out of loss, and new life for a new day!

Our retreats this year take us back to the country! For many years a special feature of the Shepherds Day Away retreats was their beautiful rural setting. We've found a new location -- Shepherd's Hill Farm -- that takes us back to green pastures, crystal blue lakes, and winding country roads. Marnie Parrish-Siggelkow is a certified spiritual director, a children's musician, and is reclaiming her calling as a visual artist. As a spiritual director, her desire is to provide a safe place to wait with others as they continue to discover the unique song God has given them to sing.

Patrick Repp is the director of Minnesota Renewal Center, a support, counseling and consultation ministry to Christian workers who have become "wounded warriors" -casualties in the spiritual battle to fulfill the Great Commission.
